SPECIFICATIONS
Combo Scan features full page ID-1 size scanning and its surface is wide enough to cover MRZ from larger documents as well, such as ID-2 cards or ID-3 passports. In addition to MRZ, the scanner reads all kinds of texts including special characters with diacritics (đ, é, č, ă, ç, á, ö, etc.).
Its 500 PPI imaging is aided by the Reflection Removal technology to ensure glare-free scanning.
Combo Scan comes with a Software Development Kit with Windows and Linux compatibility, including APIs and development support for C/C++, C#, Visual Basic, .NET, Java.

MRZ OCR
Automatic reading of Machine Readable Zone from all types of ICAO9303-compliant documents – supporting 1/2/3-line MRZs.
VIZ OCR
Capturing not just machine-readable data but other – non-standardized – printed text too. These texts appear in different font types and size, the layout always changes from document to document. Thanks to the extended OCR database, the scanner reads even special characters with diacritics.
1D/2D barcodes
Recognition of both 1 and 2-dimensional barcodes, including the widely used PDF-417 and QR codes amongst others.
RFID contactless chips
Reading contactless chips according to ISO 14443 A & B and BSI TR-03105. Accessing these chips happens via complex security protocols, to mention a few: BAC, EAC, PACE – all these are supported by the software.
